On the Gulf.

I know I've been saying this a lot--but, I am so sorry for the lack of posts lately! Things have been quite insane with planning for Dashing Emancipation, summer classes, work, and family coming into town.

Two weeks ago I enjoyed some lovely downtime in Florida--there is nothing like the beach, sun, and waves to help one relax! ;)

These pictures were taken on my lovely Grandmother's property! She lives in my favorite house in all the world, on the gulf of Mexico. It's to die for, and the aesthetic of the house is amazing--she is an artist so I guess those things only come natural to her.

He DID it.

This past week my little brother graduated from high school, making him the last child in the family to do so....the world is now officially wide open for the boy :) I am so proud of him, and honored to have such a hardworking, handsome young man as a brother. I know he is going to go so far with his character and brains ;) Here are some pictures from the various graduation celebration sessions through the week, from dinner to me gifting him with a Burberry watch---AND, of course splurging on a Michael Kors watch for myself; something I've had on my "want" list for a year now.

I am so sorry for the lack of posting the past couple weeks, life has been preoccupied with well, life. And, work, and planning for Dashing Emancipation, an event I am so very proud of. (pssss...hope you will be there!)

Alas, let me see if I can round up some recent life events, and of course outfits ;)

I took my Mom to an Orchestra Symphony performance, and let me tell you--it was brilliant. Boy, do I love classical music!

And, of course I got a shot of the gorgeous Potomac at sunset; D.C. is truly one of my favorite cities.
