IJM: Terrify No More.

I just finished reading "Terrify No More" by Gary Haugen, the president of International Justice Mission; a non-profit in D.C. that works with governments across the world and literally goes in and rescues girls in brothels being sold for sex. This book mostly featured one of their biggest rescues in Cambodia--it's an astonishing step by step play of the rescue. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in justice, specifically involving the sex trade. To buy the book, click here.

(Summer 2012 I plan on having a huge Fashion Show benefiting IJM, more info to come soon--if you're interested, let me know! :)

"Truth compels people of goodwill to act; and because all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing, the end is near for the perpetrators of injustice when the truth compels good people to do something, especially good people in places of power." (Gary Haugen)

Here is my Sevenly shirt I bought a couple weeks ago, supporting IJM and their fight against trafficking! To read that blog post, click here.

As we approach the 4th, and celebrate our freedom as the United States of America, let's remember the countless slaves across the globe, as well as in our very own country who need someone to fight for their freedom!

Peace. Love. Joy.
