Have you ever stopped?
I mean truly stopped and just observed what is around you?
Not in a passing moment kind of way,
but in the literal sense of stopping,
taking in whats around you and really delving into it.
Have you ever stopped at a concert,
and observed the movement of the crowd as they jump in unison,
adding to the ascending noise their own tune?
Have you ever been out and observed a couple with their
newborn baby?
The joy, the simplicity, and the love
all combined into my setting...
as if their lives have all come together
and formed a perfect harmony.
This is life.
These are the moments that make up everything.
The ongoing circle of life.
The unique beat of each life,
the starting of new life,
and the beginning of new seasons of life.
My dreams.
My fears.
The back and forth of each.
I was once told that your greatest destiny lies on the other side of fear.
And, I think its true.
I think it's been proven time and time again.
In fact, sometimes the perpetual fear and 'not knowing' is what keeps pushing me forward,
knowing that when I cross the other side I'll be happy I pushed back the awkward feelings.
I always end up in a better place then I ever was before in life,
when I push into these fear laden lands of the 'unknown'.
I think the greatest thing to do is face your fears,
communicate to yourself the ridiculousness of what you're afraid of...
write it out.
Then, turn it around and realize that truth lies in the ability to know
what is within you,
and create your own future with your thoughts and therefore actions.
We all face fear,
and the bigger our dreams the bigger the fear.
But, at the end of the day unless we choose the uncomfortable process
of feeling that fear and embracing what lies ahead,
we will never see our dreams come to fruition.
They will simply lay there,
outside the confines of our comfortable boundaries we've drawn up.
I think,
and of course this is opinion;
but, if you aren't afraid of something in your life,
maybe you aren't really living your full potential?
Just a thought.
peace. love. joy.
This is beautiful my dear!
