Injustice.//

Injustice.
It happens every day,
in every country around the world,
to the rich and the poor,
the blue collar and the white collar.
In some dysfunctional way its the thing that connects us all.

You can never be too great,
or too successful ;
injustice is no  respecter.

Injustice is this human condition that echoes throughout the globe.
It comes in every form and function,
sweeping through our day to day lives only
leaving behind a heart full of questions about this journey we are all on
called, life.

I've come to find the answers may never come,
and the greatest thing we as humans might face in this life,
is the ability to wake up, show up,
and live.
Despite, the unanswered questions,
we have the choice to keep our heart alive,
instead of hard, barely pumping.

This is what separates those whom truly live,
from those who barely make it.

Wealth doesn't determine that.
Status doesn't determine that.
Popularity doesn't determine that.

No thing in this life can grant us the internal luxury of a heart
full of life.

To show up to life,
despite all odds is the one thing that separates the alive ones from those that aren't.
May you live each day fully alive to the beauty of the simplicity of life:
the breath you breathe, the coffee you sip, the snow as it falls--
the little things, universally we all experience.
Let your heart treasure those moments,
you'll be happy you did.

peace. love. joy.
